The city of Manila in the Philippines is her birthplace and where she was raised by her parents, Letty Guevarra and Jojo Allado. After completing her high school education, she enrolled at the University of the Philippines. At the same time, she began attending theatre workshops at school, where she starred in various plays such as ‘The Phantom of the Opera’, ‘Hairspray’, and ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ amongst others.
