Candace Owens is an African American rising star of the youth conservative movement. She is the creator of Red Pill Black on YouTube and also is the director of urban engagement for conservative advocacy group – Turning Point USA.

She is widely known in America for her support for the United States President Donald Trump and her disapproval of the Black Lives Matter movement. She has been compared to Tomi Lahren for her conservative views and remarks. She embodies a fearless spirit and despite being a victim of a racial bully, it has not stopped her but inspired her to equip others to fight for their rights. Biography (Age)

Candace Owens was born on April 29th, 1989 in Stamford, Connecticut and was raised by her grandparents when her parents’ marriage crashed. She attended Stamford High School where she was a victim of bullying.  In 2007,  she received a call from a blocked number that threatened her with racial abusive slurs and violence while she was still in high school.

The issue got blown up when it was revealed that one of the boys was the former Stamford Mayor, Dannel Malloy’ 14-year-old son. Candace became the subject of harassments and threats afterward, which prompted her father to file a legal action against Stamford education board for failing to protect her daughter from harassments. Her family was compensated with the sum of $37,500.

According to her, the incident shaped her mind and strengthened her resolve to fight for social justice and not to be tagged a victim of circumstances. This brought her to the world of activism.

She enrolled at the University of Rhode Island to study Journalism but dropped out in her junior year due to lack of funds. She was reported to have worked for Vogue Magazine before she worked for a private Equity firm for four and half years after she relocated to New York City. A relentless hard worker, she worked her way from an assistant to Vice President of the organization.

Controversies

Candace Owen’s career has been plagued with controversies; in 2016, she launched a website called Social Autopsy.com targeted at exposing bullies on the internet by tracing their digital imprint. The project was to be crowdfunded on Kickstarter but it was suspended because it went controversial, drawing criticism from blogs and individuals.

In 2017, she launched a YouTube channel and websites called The Red Pill Black aiming to stimulate black conservatism in the United States. She was appointed the director of urban engagement of Turning Point USA on November 21, 2017, at a MAGA rally and Expo in Rockford, Illinois.

Candace’s life changed when she posted a video on YouTube blaming the media for generating racial panic during the Charlottesville rally. This prompted Fox News host Jesse Watters to invite her as a guest on his show. Her appearance on the show brought her to national consciousness.

She also courted fame when Kanye West tweeted that he likes the way she thinks which immediately swelled her followership and popularity as she became an ardent supporter of the rapper. President Donald Trump took notice of her activism and commended her as one of the “group of very smart thinkers”.

Candace Owens actual net worth is not known but it speculated she earns a lot online from her YouTube channel where she has accumulated more than 245k followers. It is estimated by that she receives an annual income of $822 to $3.2k from her site. There is no information on her salary and annual income from her activism, but some online sources speculated a net worth of $300,000. It is unknown whether she own assets like houses, cars and valuables things.
