Brooke Nevin is a Canadian actress and a regular television face who started out in the late ’90s as a teen actress but now well recognized in the entertainment industry for her performances on both the big and small screens.

Brooke Candice Nevin was born on December 22, 1982, in Toronto, Ontario to parents Monique (Nicky) and Robert (Bob) Nevin, a retired professional hockey player who played for 4 teams, including New York Rangers (as a Captain), Toronto Maple Leafs and Los Angeles Kings. She grew up alongside her younger sister Kaleigh, who is also an actress.
The talented actress had always craved for the spotlight from an early age. Her energies were first channelled into dance and music. At the young age of four, she was enrolled in dance classes where she learned tap, jazz and ballet before honing her music skills in playing the flute and piano. Brooke attended the Leaside High School in Toronto. She was an active member of her school’s choir and the East York Youth choir where she participated in school plays, community theatre and talent shows before moving from the local stage to the silver screen. However, her career in Hollywood had a slightly bumpy start.
Brooke Nevin debuted onscreen with minor roles in shows some of which were cancelled due to low ratings and never made it to the TV. However, her first rise to prominence was in 1998 when she joined the cast of Nickelodeon’s live-action teen series Animorphs, playing fashionista gymnast Rachel Berenson.
