Professional American wrestler Brock Lesnar is a name to reckon with in the WWE circle. Known for his strength in the ring, Lesnar is no match for countless opponents that have challenged him in the past. He is also a former mixed martial artist and footballer.
The professional wrestler was born with the birth name Brock Edward Lesnar on 12th July 1977 in Webster, South Dakota United States. He went to Webster High School and upon graduation, he was admitted into Bismarck State College but later transferred on a wrestling scholarship to the University of Minnesota. During his high school days, Lesnar was in the football team and he participated in amateur wrestling representing his school in his senior year at the state championship where he won third place. Lesnar was also the winner of the 2000 National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I heavyweight wrestling championship.
Brock Lesnar’s Career
Lesnar commenced his professional wrestling career in 2000 when he signed with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) which was then called the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and he was listed under the Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) section where he was able to win the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship thrice with the help of his team The Minnesota Stretching Crew. In 2002, he made his debut on the WWE main league and he won the WWE (Undisputed) Championship within 5 months breaking the record as the youngest wrestler to ever win the championship title at age 25.
The talented wrestler was also the winner of King of the Ring in 2002 and Royal Rumble winner in 2003 and 2004. However, a lot of rivalry and feuds emerged between him and his WWE colleagues especially Goldberg which made him lose the 2004 championship title and eventually announce his departure from the WWE temporarily to pursue a career in the National Football League (NFL).
The wrestler’s move to the NFL was not long lived as he was not even able to feature in their 2004 season. The next year, he signed with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), winning the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in his first match. He left the league in 2006 to pursue a career in mixed martial arts (MMA) and was signed with Hero’s. Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) signed him in October of that same year and he had his debut match against Frank Mir which he lost but bounced back by winning his second fight which was against Heath Herring.
In November 2008, Lesnar emerged the winner of the UFC Heavyweight Championship and after a match with Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Shane Carwin, he became the undisputed UFC Heavyweight Champion. However, he lost the title to Cain Velasquez at UFC 121 which followed with another defeat he faced at UFC 141 match against Alistair Overeem and he eventually retired from the MMA in 2011.
Return To WWE & Second Retirement
The versatile wrestler returned to WWE in April 2012 and recorded his big win two years later by defeating another top wrestler The Undertaker in the WrestleMania XXX match. In 2016, Lesnar participated in the UFC 200 where he defeated Mark Hunt but lost the title and faced suspension when he tested positive to Clomiphene, a drug that was prohibited by the UFC’s drug rules. He was fined and the titled was given to his opponent, this prompted his second retirement from the MMA in February 2017. He is however still signed with the WWE Raw Brand and continues to top the charts with his championship titles.

Brock Lesnar’s Family – Wife and Daughter
The talented wrestler is the son of Stephanie and Richard Lesnar who are of German ancestry. His parents owned a dairy farm and he was raised alongside his two elder brothers Troy and Chad with a younger sister Brandi on their dairy farm in Webster.
Brock Lesnar married the former model, actress and wrestler Sable a.K.a Rena Greek in May 2006. They have two sons together; Turk who was born in 2009 and Duke born in 2010. Lesner is also the father of twins Mya Lynn and Luke born in 2002 with his ex-fiancee Nicole McCain.
The Wrestling champion is known to be a fitness freak and one of the healthiest wrestlers in WWE Raw with a well-built body weighing 130kg which is carried gracefully on his 6ft and 3inches height.
