Nowadays, Brie Larson is not mentioned without the thought of her feet, height, and other body measurements running through people’s minds. The world appears to be obsessed with her body and the reason for this would most definitely not sound strange to those that follow her activities on social media.
Movie lovers, and of course fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, have also come to terms with discussing Larson’s body due to her role as superhero Carol Danvers in the 2019 Captain Marvel film that not only wowed fans but also earned her lots of admirers.
Brie Larson’s height of 5 feet 7 inches makes her one of the people tallest in her profession. Brie Larson’s feet are shoe size 9 (US). Scroll down to see photos of Brie Larson’s feet and bare legs in cool high heels, boots, sandals, pumps, hot shoes, and why her fans are obsessed with it.
Brie Larson’s Feet and The Obsession Around It
It will definitely be irritating for Brie Larson that what most people tend to discuss about her is her feet and not her acting talents/exploits in Hollywood. The actress’ story is that which encourages one to never give up no matter what the obstacles are.
With many lost opportunities and hurdles that seem to have got the best of her, Brie remained undeterred and today is counted among A-list actors in Hollywood. But regardless of these achievements, her feet and other physical attributes about her tend to be what a lot of people want to discuss.
Brie Larson may have a hand in why this is so because most of the content she puts out on her social media is related to her workout sessions and how she gets prepared to play her Marvel superhero role.
She usually posts images or videos of her working out or just taking in the sun. In many of these photos, however, one thing always seems to be prominent for everyone to see: her feet. Take for instance on October 2, 2020, when she turned 31 years old. The actress posted a photo of her taking in the sun by the river with a caption that read: “If you’re reading this, I’m 31.”
It is almost impossible for anyone to look at the photo and not notice her odd-looking feet that one commenter likened to that of the character of Frodo Baggins from the Lord of the Rings. While many other funny comments were made about them, like one that asked if her feet were 31 too, many pointed out that Brie Larson’s feet appeared to be large because the picture was taken from an odd angle. It was also pointed out that the lens used could have contributed to it appearing this way.
Unfortunately, these claims have done nothing to stop the discussion about her feet as with each new photo she posts on social media with them visible, they never appear to not look odd. Many now believe that she does this purposely and has grown an obsession with showing her followers her feet. Brie has in the past talked about how unrealistic beauty ideals used to influence her. She has since gained confidence and has nothing to worry about what people think of her appearance. This may certainly be why she continues to make sure her feet are visible in her photos.
How Tall Is Brie Larson?
Brie Larson is one of the leading actresses in Hollywood. Standing at 5 feet 7 inches, she is also counted among the tallest in the profession.
It is reported that the average height of actresses in Hollywood is 5 feet 5 inches, making her at least 2 inches taller than most of her counterparts.
Knowing Brie’s height, it is no surprise that she was cast to play the role of a superhero. It is well documented that filmmakers in Hollywood generally opt to cast taller people in such roles instead of employing height-enhancing techniques when shooting with shorter actors.
This, among other reasons, is why the average height in Hollywood is higher than that of Americans in general. For example, the average height of men in America is 5 feet 9 inches while for women it is 5 feet 4 inches. When it comes to Hollywood, the average actor is 5 foot 10 inches while the average actress is 5 foot 5 inches.
While her height may have played a role, Brie’s amazing performances in the Marvel productions have shown that she was the right person for the role, with many concluding that no one would have done it better than Larson.
Her Fitness Regimen Allows Her Maintain Her Weight Of 128 pounds
From the discussions above, it can be deduced that the actress is not one who jokes about her roles or the act of keeping fit. Brie Larson is one actress who would do anything to perfectly reflect a role given to her. We recall the event of her remarkable role in the film Room, the actress reportedly embarked on a fitness journey to lose enough weight to make her appear like someone in captivity.
Dieting was not out of the plan, she took to a drastic modification in her diet as well as physical mortifications to help her look pale, unfed, and depressed – attributes of a woman held in captivity.
Breakdown of Her Gym Routine
The actress applied almost the same strategy when she got her role in Captain Marvel. From all indications, it was not a workout plan aimed at losing or gaining weight but mainly on increasing strength and speed. Brie needed to be strong for her role in order to better reflect the character she portrayed, and for this reason, she had to take the necessary steps.
The gym had all the answers she needed. Larson spent nine whole months training for her role. Thanks to her instructor, NSCA-certified personal trainer Jason Walsh, Larson took up a daunting workout plan which centered on building her strength.
It was not easy at first. Larson was assisted by her trainer in doing pull-ups and sit-ups. She made use of equipment like barbells, resistance bands, stability balls, and many others. Walsh knew that all she needed primarily was strength and what he did first was work towards eliminating any form of weakness in her. He gradually achieved this by making her go through rotational, anti-rotational, and several kinds of body movements.
The next step was to maintain those strengths. Walsh and Larson worked extensively on her fight scenes to achieve this. The last step was intensifying her training at the gym and it took another three months. This time around, it was no longer the ordinary training she knew – it was more tasking, but Larson went through the daunting episode and came out strong.
