The remarkable golfer started his pursuit of a career in sports at the tender age of 14 after forfeiting a chance to acquire formal education and since then, he has established an awe-inspiring career in the golf game. The professional German golfer Bernhard Langer was born on the 27th day of August 1957 to mother – Erwin Langer and father -Walburga Langer in Anhausen near Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. According to available records, Bernhard who is a devout Christian originally came from Bavaria West Germany. The records also say he is white and his Zodiac sign is Virgo, there seems to be no record of any sibling, so it is assumed that he is an only child.

Right from childhood, he has always had a deep interest in sporting activities and at the age of eight, Bernhard started at the Augsburg G but left at age 14 to pursue a career in golf. After he turned 50, Bernhard attained the status of a living legend in the world of golf and has achieved victory in 10 senior major championships which include 2010, 2014 and also the 2017 senior open Championship. In addition, he also won the Us Senior open in 2010 and Regions Traditions in 2016 and 2017. He also has to his credit, the Constellation Senior Players Championship from 2014 to 2016 and the Senior PGA Championship of 2017. Bernhard has completed 48 events in the senior majors and has ended in topmost 10 in 24 (50%) and 38 (79%) of them respectively.
