Annette Bening has been married twice in her lifetime. Her current husband is Warren Beatty – an actor and filmmaker. The duo got married on the 3rd of March 1992, a year after they both acted in the 1991 film, Bugsy. Annette is 21 years younger than her husband, but the age difference regardless, the duo have managed to remain a couple for decades and counting.

The long lifespan of their union comes as a surprise to many because of the fact that Warren Beatty was once famed for being a Hollywood Playboy. Back in his prime, the actor and filmmaker was something of a tabloid fodder – thanks to his romantic relationships with fellow high profile stars. His lovers include actress Joan Collins to whom he was briefly engaged before infidelity tore them apart, as well as the singer-songwriter Carly Simon. It is said that her hit song, You’re So Vain was about him.

Warren Beatty is as successful in acting as he is in filmmaking. His heydays spanned from the 60s to the late 1990s. Beatty is the only one ever to be nominated for the same film as an actor, director, writer and producer, a feat he has achieved twice – first in 1978’s Heaven Can Wait and later in Reds. Eight of Beatty’s films have received 53 Academy Award nominations. In 1999, the Oscar’s rewarded his effort with their highest honor, the Irving G. Thalberg Award. Since the new millennium, Beatty has slowed down in his activity in Hollywood.

Annette Bening and her husband Beatty have been blessed with four children – two sons and two daughters. Before Beatty, Annette was married to a choreographer, J. Steven White. The union lasted from May 26, 1984, to 1991.
