When the first Angry Birds movie was released, the public was doubtful of how much sense a film that was based on a video game would make, as movie producers have in the past struggled to do so. However, much to everyone’s surprise, the film was substantially more entertaining than it had any right to be, as it explored the merits of anger and delivered huge amounts of humor. With the success of the first film, producers have released a sequel, The Angry Birds Movie 2, which they hope will leave an even greater legacy than the first one. Here are ten things you should know about the film.
Facts About Angry Birds Movie 2
1. It is a Sequel To The Angry Birds Movie (2016)
The Angry Birds Movie 2 was released as a sequel to The Angry Birds Movie (2016), a computer-animated comedy film about a reclusive, temperamental outcast bird named Red, who lives in a village called Bird Island with other flightless birds, all of whom lead angerless lives. This, however, changes as the birds find themselves in war with pigs from Pig Island.
In the sequel, the story follows Red and his friends who are forced to team up with their adversaries from pigs island to stop an advanced weapon that threatens both islands.

3. One of the Co-writers From Ice Age Co-Wrote The Film
The script for The Angry Birds Movie 2 was written by Peter Ackerman, Eyal Podell, and Jonathon E. Stewart. Ackerman is a playwright, actor, and screenwriter best known for co-writing the animated movie Ice Age for 20th Century Fox. His co-writer, Eyal Podell, is an Isreali-American actor best known for his portrayal of Professor Adrian Korbel in the soap opera The Young and the Restless, and Dr. Evram Mintz in the sci-fi drama series, Defying Gravity.
Not much is known about the third co-writer, Jonathon E. Stewart, other than that he and Podell penned a biopic about Theodor Geisel, AKA Dr. Seuss.
4. It Features an Ensemble Cast

They also further drew reference to the character Silver, an eccentric and brilliant female bird who is an intelligent technological technic, as a model to inspire more young women to pursue STEM disciplines.
