Amos Bocelli’s Biography
Amos Bocelli was born on the 22nd of February, 1995 to Andrea Bocelli and Enrica Cenzatti, his first wife, in Forte dei Marmi – a resort town in Tuscany. As the son of one of the world’s most famous opera singers, he followed in his father’s footsteps and dived into the world of music at a very early stage of his life.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Amos Bocelli attended Universita di Pisa in Pisa, Tuscany. While his father studied Law at the university, Amos gained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering. However, his love for music was still prominent in his life. To fuel his passion for music, he proceeded to the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali L. Boccherini, where he bagged a Bachelor of Arts degree in piano.
Just as his brother Matteo Bocelli inherited Andrea Bocelli’s voice; Amos inherited his father’s talent as a pianist. Over the years, Amos has gradually been acquiring respect and experience as a pianist. In April 2013, he played the piano for his father’s live performance of Love Me Tender and he was greatly involved in the production of Si, his father’s 2018 album. Andrea then moved to a villa in Forte dei Marmi with Veronica Betti, his second wife, and mother to Virginia Bocelli, his only daughter, and step-sister to Amos and Matteo; Virginia was born on the 21st of March, 2012.
