Amanda Bucci’s Biography
Bucci was born in Rhode Island on the 6th of July 1993. Her mother’s name is Linda while her father’s name is not known. Amanda and her sister Danielle were both raised in the U.S smallest state of Rhode Island.
Born with a natural athletic talent, growing up, Bucci tried her hands on a number of sporting activities including lacrosse and soccer, but would soon discover that she wasn’t made for team sports and sought for an alternative.
When she was only fifteen years of age, her grandfather, a former world champion powerlifter encouraged her to join a local gym and that became the beginning of her career in the fitness world. She spent the following years lifting weight and working out to achieve her dream figure. During this time, she learned the three big lifts; bench press, deadlift, and squats which helped her greatly in her journey.
With her progress, her parents encouraged her to enter a fitness show and in 2013 at the age of twenty, Amanda Bucci entered for the show and made her debut in two divisions; the Bikini Novice A Class and the Bikini Debut. Despite being an amateur, she earned a second place position in the Bikini Debut category and a trophy in the Bikini Novice A Class category.
These successes motivated her to choose a career in the field of athletics and to reach out to more and more people who are willing to take a fitness journey. In 2015, Bucci bagged a degree in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island. Giving her reason for choosing to go for nursing instead of any other course, She said it was a combination of her natural inclination to nurture others, as well as the knowledge that it is a steady job that she would find fulfillment in.
Amanda soon abandoned her career as a nurse for entrepreneurship, according to her, she realized that a traditional career path was the opposite of what she wanted. Thus, the following years saw her entering for more competitions (six to be precise), coming out top three in all and adding two more trophies to her collection.
She then got more and more involved in the fitness world and began fitness coaching and training. To create awareness and give herself some visibility, she took her work to social media and was everywhere on Youtube and Instagram sharing her thoughts, and life experiences with the world.
