The star who began playing baseball rather early in his life was raised alongside a brother, Zachary Eaton who as at 2015, was said to be a captain in the United States Air Force. Even before then, he played baseball in his high school days. He played as a pitcher and outfielder for his school, helping the team to get to the 2014 and 2015 regional finals.

Adam Eaton remained with the White Sox until 2016 when he was traded to the Washington Nationals. There, he was soon to be placed on the disabled list after he returned with a knee strain. The problem would later be found to be more than just that, forcing him to miss the rest of the season.

He returned for the Nationals in 2018, only to be awarded the National Player of the Week award. That was the first time he got the award in his career. However, he soon was placed again on the disabled list following an injury affecting his left leg where he had a surgery done. He remained out from April until June 2018 when he made another appearance in the league.
