This American television series was known for its spice of comedy and its beautiful storyline. The time travel TV show was jointly created by Howard Overman, Ariel Shaffir and Kyle Hunter. Future Man premiered on Hulu Network on November 14, 2017, and it featured Josh Hutcherson, Derek Wilson, Eliza Coupe, Ed Begley, Haley Joel, and Glenne Headly. More so, popular review aggregation site, Rotten Tomatoes, gave its first season an 82% approval rating based on 38 reviews with an average rating of 7.08/10. Also, Metacritic gave it a weighted average of 70/100 based on 20 critical reviews.

3. Travelers

This Canadian-American television show was created by popular Canadian screenwriter, Brad Wright. The show starred the likes of Eric McCormack, MacKenzie Porter, Nesta Cooper, Patrick Gilmore, Jared Abrahamson amongst others. The series production was done by a joint effort between Netflix and Showcase. This time travel TV show was premiered on October 17, 2016, in Canada and it ran successfully for 3 seasons comprising of 34 episodes.

This time travel TV show’s first season was rated a perfect 100% score on the Tomatometer based on nine reviews with a weighted average of 8.0/10.

4. 12 Monkeys

The time travel TV show, 12 Monkeys is an American television series which was created by Travis Fickett and Terry Matalas. The storyline bears a similar resemblance to the 1995 self-titled film. This time travel Sci-Fi series starred Aaron Standford, Amanda Schull, Kirk Acevedo amongst others. It was originally released on January 16, 2015, on Syfy network and it recorded a 60% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

5. Quantum Leap

Quantum Leap is a popular Sci-FI time travel TV show which ran from March 1989 to May 1993. The series which was created by Donald Bellisario portrays the story of a physicist who suddenly discovers he can leap through space and time after conducting a time travel experiment. Some of the Hollywood acts that starred in the series include Scott Bakula, Dean Stockwell, Deborah Pratt, Dennis Wolfberg and Candy Ann Brown. Quantum Leap received a whooping 43 award nominations as well as 17 awards which include multiple Primetime Emmy Awards and Golden Globe Awards.

The storyline of Outlander was adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s book series titled ‘Outlander’. This popular time travel TV show was produced by Sony Pictures Television and STARZ. Its first season was premiered in 2014 and it featured Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan for its lead roles. The Sci-Fi drama series is currently in its fourth season with the possibility of a season 5 in view. Metacritic rated its first season 73/100 based on 34 reviews.

7. Lost

This popular American series aired for six seasons on ABC network from September 22, 2004, ending on May 23, 2010. Naveen Andrews, Emilie de Ravin, Matthew Fox, and Jorge Garcia were among the cast of the series. This time travel TV show as a critically acclaimed movie which the Rotten Tomatoes site gave 93% ratings for its first season and the next season after that got a 100% approval rating.

8. The Flash

The Flash is a DC comics time travel T.V show created by Andrew Kreisberg, Geoff Johns, and Greg Berlanti. It starred the likes of Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Rick Cosnett and a host of other top actors and actresses. The show which is in its 5th season was first aired on The CW network on October 7, 2014, and it has been on since then. It is also worthy to note that none of the five released seasons have gotten less than a 76% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

9. Legends of Tomorrow

This American series which was released in January 2016 is based on characters gotten from DC comics. It was developed by Greg Berlanti and three other screenwriters. It starred Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill amongst others. The first season of Legends of Tomorrow got an approval rating of 65% on Rotten Tomatoes.

10. Dark

Dark is a German Sci-Fi television series created by both Jantje Friese and Barah bo Odar. It began airing on Netflix on December 1, 2017, and has run for two seasons. Rotten Tomatoes gave its premier season an approval rating of 88% based on 42 reviews and an average rating of 7.14/10. The series is also notable for winning the 2018 Grimme-Preis award.
